ABOUT ME

Although this will change next year, I am 32 now. I have experiences in the good and the bad things in life. I read a lot of fascinating books and watched a lot of interesting TV and listened to some boring and also quite inspiring people.

To fully write 'About Me' would take far too long to be interesting to me let alone my readers. Here is a taster of who I am.

I have been a freelance writer for a while now. It is a difficult career to make people understand that you are actually 'working behind that closed door'. I have struggled with people accepting my vocation in life. I still get frequent, "Why don't you get a job?" comments, even from family. It can be annoying and degrading, but I carry on.

I joined University of Lincoln to study journalism. The first few months have been a roller-coaster of work and emotions; my first child was on her way and higher education was a new daunting challenge to me.

The pregnancy was not kind to Tonya. I was heavily distracted and sleepless with worry all the time. University work suffered; But that was fine with me as long as Tonya did not suffer. Evalynn, the baby, arrived and Tonya had to go through her own personal hell to have her child. And I had to watch all this pain and be strong for both of them.

I now carry on writing and bettering who I am as a person; not just for me and my love of writing, as I did in the past, but now for my Daughter too.
